i’m jadesola, but i go by jade! I'm twenty-one year old nigerian-american born and raised in south jersey. I am an undergraduate pre-medical student but I have had a passion for creative writing ever since I could remember. I’m kind of a closed book so enjoy this haphazard collection of my inner thoughts and monologue along with some fictional short stories. some things that i love (outside of writing) include FILM, true crime, working out, psychology, medicine, fashion, modeling, music (especially brent faiyaz), dystopian/apocalyptic novels, and the feeling I get when I make someone laugh. I hate going to bed hot, having to constantly repeat myself, and the smell of eggs. everyday i wake up with the intention of becoming a better, wiser, kinder, version of myself. I can’t help but want to be everything, everywhere, all at once.
– for someone who doesn't really open up, this blog is get me to voice and articulate what i’m feeling instead of keeping everything bottled up. this is the debut of me, my words, and my mind for anyone willing to read. you may not agree or relate to everything i say but hopefully you can still appreciate my work. self love is having the courage to express yourself in novel ways – and that’s exactly what I’m doing.
